MTN Project Fame 6 Update: Hot Dispute in The House

The drama which started off in Uncle Ben's class took a pleasant turn yesterday as Blessing and Nini waded into the squabble involving Simon, Nancy and Immaculate. Nini and Blessing encouraged them to put everything behind them and face exactly what brought them in to the Academy which is singing.

After much pointing of fingers and stern deliberations, the parties apologised and moved on into the business of the day.

Later in the day, Kaffy came in for her dance class and they all had an interesting time rehearsing for the weekend's perfomances. She did not forget to address the drama which has been going on in the Academy; she advised them all especially Immaculate not to allow emotional issues distract her from what brought her into the competition.

Well…as they rehearse for the weekend, they still need you to keep their dreams alive by your votes, please send only your favorite contestants number to 306 if you are in Nigeria, Liberia and Sierra Leone, 1745 if you are in Ghana. The voting lines close at 5pm (Nigerian time) on Friday and remember there are lots of prizes to be won by active voters.

BREAKING NEWS: BOKO HARAM SLAUGHTERS 54 INNOCENT SOULS IN BORNO

At least 54 people including 24 vigilante youths (C civilian JTF), 14 Shuwa Arab herdsmen and 16 civilians were killed by suspected Boko Haram terrorists in three different Local Government Areas of Monguno, Damboa and Nganzai in Borno state.

Gunmen killed 14 nomadic herders in an attack on a village in the north eastern state of Borno, local government representative Alhaji Garba Ali told reporters.

At least 24 members of a vigilante group were killed in a separate attack in a forest in the same state, said another local official who asked not to be named.

The attackers were wearing military uniforms and the vigilantes followed them into the forest, believing them to be government soldiers, the official said.

"They took them to the middle of the forest before descending on them," he said. "About 24 bodies have been discovered, while 34 other persons are still missing."

The military has encouraged the formation of vigilante groups to help it track down Boko Haram members as it pursues an offensive in the northeast aiming to end the Islamist extremists' four-year insurgency.

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan declared a state of emergency in the northeast in May and the military immediately launched a major offensive in the region aiming to end Boko Haram's insurgency.

Boko Haram's insurgency has left more than 3,600 dead since 2009, including killings by the security forces, who have been accused of major abuses.

NELSON MANDELA DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL

Mr Mandela's discharge this morning from Pretoria's Mediclinic Heart Hospital comes a day after confusion in the Mandela family over whether the 95-year-old former president had in fact been sent home.

Mr Mandela, whose condition is described as "critical" and "at times unstable," was admitted to hospital June 8 suffering from a recurring lung infection.

His home in the upscale Houghton neighbourhood of Johannesburg, already fitted with a hospital-like clinic, has been reconfigured to allow him to receive intensive care there, according to the statement issued by South African President Jacob Zuma's spokesman.

Mr Mandela's doctors "are convinced that he will receive the same level of intensive care at his Houghton home that he received in Pretoria." "If there are health conditions that warrant another admission to hospital in future, this will be done," the statement said.

7 SIGNS THAT YOU’RE IN A GOOD RELATIONSHIP

1. YOU CAN DO THINGS SEPARATELY

This may seem a little weird but it's true, doing things separately and not having a problem with it is a sign you're in a relationship and it's a healthy one. If you completely depend on each other to do everything, then your relationship can quickly become a little (or a lot) co-dependent. Take a step back! It's okay for you to go out with your friends without him, and it's okay for him to go out with his friends without you!

2. YOU DON'T PUT EACH OTHER DOWN

This shouldn't be a surprise but if you're in a healthy relationship you shouldn't always feel the need to put down your significant other. That's not to say you can't make funny comments about how bad they are at ping pong but don't nit-pick and put your honey down over everything that they do!

3. YOU TRUST EACH OTHER

Trust is a big part of any relationship but it's VERY important that you ACTUALLY trust the person that you're with. In any relationship that you get into you're looking for someone to spend your time (or life) with. So, you have to trust that that person isn't going to let you down or hurt you. If you don't trust the person you're with, you'll wind up having a lot of fights and feeling very insecure, the opposite of how you should feel in a healthy relationship!

4. YOU BOTH FEEL EACH OF YOU IS DOING ENOUGH

Feeling like you're carrying your whole relationship by yourself and that your partner isn't doing enough it can create a lot of friction. It's important that both you and your partner feel like the work load (or financial load if you're at that point) is split evenly between the two of you.

5. YOUR RELATIONSHIP WORKS OUTSIDE OF THE BEDROOM

In a serious relationship sex usually comes into play. But, it's very important that sex isn't the only thing that works in your relationship (if you want something more serious). The best way to avoid this is to make sure that both you and the person that you are with know what exactly you want and where your relationship is going.

6. YOU DON'T RUSH MILESTONES

This one can be tough for anyone, when you feel like you love somebody you want to start a life with them and you tend to rush things a little bit. But try really hard to pump the brakes and don't rush the milestones! If your relationship is healthy things will reach that point naturally. You don't need to rush moving in together or getting married or having children. Let things flow more organically!

7. YOU CAN TALK ABOUT ANYTHING

And I do mean anything! Your significant other doesn't always want to hear about your ex but, if you need to talk about your last relationship you should be able to. There shouldn't be anything too taboo about you or the person you're with to talk about.

7 THINGS TO REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR RELATIONSHIP FROM FALLING APART

September 2, 2013

1. ATTRACTION REACTION

There's no way to stop your man from finding other females attractive. If you catch him glancing at a cute waitress or drooling over Jennifer Lawrence, let it roll off of your back. Of course, if he takes it too far and starts flirting with other women or staring until you're uncomfortable, discuss it with him. But if he just has a few harmless crushes, you need to live with it. Jealousy can be painful, but if you want to keep your relationship from falling apart, you can't get angry every time a hot girl walks past him.

2. FIRST THINGS FIRST

A lady should be treated like a princess, right? While your man should try to put you before all else, you can't come first in every single situation. If he has to choose between attending an important interview or tagging along for your next pedicure, don't be upset when he puts work first. Be happy that he has his priorities in order and know that he'd come running to you if something was actually wrong. So let your prince take care of what he needs to before you ride off into the sunset together.

3. WAITING ON YOUR MAN TO CHANGE

There may be things you want to change about your boyfriend, but you have to realize that he could be happy the way that he is. Trying to change him can make him feel like he's not good enough for you. It can start unnecessary fights and potentially end your relationship. If the change is something you can't live without, end the relationship if he's not willing to work on himself. If you love him regardless of whether or not he changes, then let him do as he wishes. You should like him for him, anyway.

4. FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

No matter how perfect a couple is, they're going to fight. Some are huge blowouts that rightfully end the relationship. Others are petty arguments that cause them to break up before they should. Don't let one fight ruin your relationship. Part of dating is being able to move on after arguing and strengthen your bond. The fighting is guaranteed; the making up is a decision.

5. PAST GIRLS

Whether you like it or not, your boyfriend had a life before he met you. If you find out your favorite movie is the one he watched with his ex on their first date or that he got his sexy tattoo while sitting next to an old flame, move past the nagging thoughts. When you rewatch that movie, don't worry about whether he's daydreaming about his ex. They broke up for a reason. Chances are he's having a better time watching it with you than he ever did with her.

6. FAREWELL FRIENDS

Just because your boyfriend enjoys spending time with you doesn't mean you're the only one he ever wants to spend time with. He needs to hang out with the boys just like you need time to chill with your girls. Don't get angry when he wants to spend one Friday night with his buddies instead of you. If he always deserts you to be with them, that's another story. But if he's only asking for a few times with his friends a week, give him a break.

7. DIFFERENT SPEEDS

Feelings develop at different rates for different people. If you think you like your boyfriend more than he likes you, just give it time. If you make a good couple, it shouldn't matter how long it takes until your emotions match up. The same goes for the reverse. If you're the one who thinks he's being too clingy too early, just tell him to cool it down while explaining how much you like him. Don't end a good relationship because one of you is moving slightly faster than the other.

If you know you've found a good man, don't let him go over some silly reason. Have any of these topics started a fight in one of your relationships? Did you break up over it?

I Used to Scare Boys When I Was Younger – Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde

Who would believe that Omotola Jalade, with a backside that would make many men drool, was once a tomboy? Omosexy, as she is popularly called, said she used to scare boys when she was much younger.

In a recent interview she granted a UK-based newspaper, Telegraph, the screen goddess stated that she had two younger brothers and that rubbed off on her making her a tomboy. She said her mother used to make jokes that she would not find a husband, ironically she met her husband when she was 16 years old.

Omosexy said, "I have two younger brothers and was a tomboy, fiercely independent. I used to scare boys from a very young age. They found me too much, because I knew what I wanted and I'd boss them around. In those days my mother would joke that I would never find a husband."

A daddy's girl while growing, the star actress said that she was close to her late father who used to treat her like a boy. Her father, a manager of Lagos Country Club, died in an auto crash when she was just twelve years old.

She said, "My father was a different kind of African man. He was very enlightened. He always asked me what I wanted, and encouraged me to speak up. He treated me like a boy."

Recounting her father's death, the actress who is often referred to as the Queen of Nollywood said she did not grieve when her father died instead she just bottled everything up inside her. This she said affected her for years.

"I didn't grieve. When I got home people were telling me that my mother had been crying for days, and that, as the eldest, I had to be strong for her and my brothers. I didn't know what to do, so I just bottled everything up. It affected me for many years afterwards. I was always very angry."

Omosexy stated that she later used to play out her repressed grief on camera, using it as an emotional trigger to make herself cry whenever scripts called for it. But this soon created other problems.

"The director would shout, 'Cut!' and I'd still be crying. I could bring the tears, but I could not control them. In the end I had to stop using that technique," she said.

Sean Kingston Sued For Alleged Gang Rape

Sean Kingston and his bodyguard gang raped a drunk teenager in the singer's hotel room back in 2010, according to a new lawsuit — but Sean says it's B.S.

Carissa Capeloto — now 22 — claims she was forced to have sex with Sean, his bodyguard and a member of Sean's band at a Seattle hotel in July, 2010, after she had smoked pot and downed 7-10 shots of vodka.

Capeloto — who has sued all 3 men — alleges she'd been invited to Kingston's hotel room for a meet-and-greet following a Bieber concert — where Kingston had also performed — but when she showed up … Kingston was waiting naked on his bed.

Capeloto claims the bodyguard picked her up and placed her on top of Kingston, and all three of the men proceeded to gang rape her while she was "obviously intoxicated, incapable of consent."

Capeloto says her friend later entered the room and rescued her. The police were called and Capeloto was taken to the hospital where she says she was treated for physical injuries consistent with rape.

She says her life has been ruined … she can barely sleep, has mood swings and panic attacks. Capeloto wants $5 mil minimum.
BTW … criminal charges against Kingston were dropped in 2010 after cops concluded Capeloto wasn't credible enough for a legit case.

Kingston has filed legal docs insisting the séx was 100% consensual.

Trial is set for November.
